Group Travel to Turkey

Laura Ericson on Camel in Turkey

It has been a couple weeks since I have been back from my group trip to Turkey and I’m already dreaming of my next adventure. My heart is full from all the amazing things we accomplished.

  • We rode camels at sunset in the valleys of Cappadocia.

  • We took a Jeep safari in the mountains of Antalya and had a water fight with total strangers like we were children again.

  • We took a hot air balloon ride at sunrise over landscapes that are over 60 billion years old.

  • We learned how rugs and ceramics are made, met with local artisans, got our hands dirty in clay, and bought many local treasures.

  • We pet so many sweet cats, dogs, goats, and camels, saw dolphins and jellyfish in their natural habitat, and had coffee with a chicken (literally).

  • We ate so much mezze, smoked shisha, had so much baklava, and sipped on Turkish coffee and tea on the daily.

  • We came together as a group of literal strangers and left as lifelong friends.

  • We did so many things, and it was exhausting and invigorating all at the same time.

My trips tend to have that effect—you want to rest and catch up on sleep any chance you have because you’ve done so much, but at the same time, you don’t dare close your eyes and risk missing something amazing.

It makes me so excited for my next group trip to Colombia this September. It’s jam-packed with adventure, nature, music, dance, color, and so much culture.

There are two spots left, and I can’t wait for you to join me!
